The Film City team are a non profit organisation responsible for creating a diverse range of interactive digital media productions with distribution across broadcast, independent and community platforms. The collective have over 17 years of experience in both production and education, promoting an ethic of digital inclusion, sovereignty and social pedagogy.

 

 

Unique collaborations have included innovations in social research, cultural exchange, arts, events, performance showcases, promotion and a variety of digital archive resources.

 

 

With funding through UK Heritage Lottery Fund, and working with a team of digital innovators the project will create an interactive online platform for local people and international visitors to historical sites to learn about the significant global impact of the hidden histories of female figures in the Derbyshire region.
